Kaela is often interpreted as meaning “beloved” or “crown of laurels,” a symbol of honour, strength, and being deeply cherished.
I painted Kaela in soft pinks and grounding browns with a galah beside her, surrounded by mandala-like blooms. I see galah  as symbols of joy, heart connection, and emotional resilience.
Together they reflect a gentle reminder that a loving heart, rooted and open, is something truly worthy of honour.
