This painting is deeply personal to me. It’s inspired by the sulphur-crested cockatoo, a bird that has shown up in my life again and again at moments when I’m listening closely to my inner voice. Sometimes in the most unexpected ways, almost like a quiet nudge I can’t ignore.
 Over time it has become one of my “North Star” birds — a reminder to stay true to what I feel is right, even when the path isn’t perfectly clear.
Sulphur-crested cockatoos are often seen as symbols of communication, intelligence, and awakening. 
Their bold presence reminds you not to silence your truth and to trust yourself.
I painted this piece as a gentle companion for whoever brings it home  ,to  remind you to follow your own light, listen to your inner knowing, and move through life with the courage to honour it.
